Operating as train W001-03, the track geometry train rolls east into Connellsville. This SD50-2 is no stranger to being on work trains, however it is very unusual for this to one to be seen on the geometry train. Built as CR 6739 SD50 in December 1983. Later became CSX 8659 SD50 before being rebuilt and reclassified to SD50-2. |

Just out of the factory a few months ago, a GEVO with the new CSX logo leads intermodal train Q015-02 westbound past the Youghiogheny River in South Connellsville. It was so hot and miserable out, that river would have felt very nice, I think. |

Q640-02 is going west out of Connellsville with two locomotives that both started out with other railroads. CSX 7324 is former CR 6111 built in March 1991. HLCSX 8086 is former BNSF/BN 8086 built in August 1979. Acquired by Helms Leasing in 2011. Update: CSX 7324 has since been retired and sold to GECX. |
