WE 110 (1)
Title:  WE 110 (1)
Description:  EMD GP35-3 high-hood works the CSX yard in Connellsville. Built as SOU 2709 GP35 in January 1965. Later became NS 2709 GP35. Acquired by the W&LE in 1990 and rebuilt to a GP35-3 in June 1996. One of many paint scheme variations on the W&LE. This one is unique because it only has a logo on the cab. The old Alco Type B trucks are on thirteen GP35-3s owned by the W&LE.

WE 110 and 109 (1)
Title:  WE 110 and 109 (1)
Description:  The engines are ready to decouple from this tank car, go back through the switch and back down against the train on the SWP interchange. The tank car had to be moved in order to fit two engines on the track. WE 106 would come up with another train, couple to the tank car, and move the train far enough up to clear the switch. It was left overnight.

WE 110 and 109 (2)

WE 110 and 109 (3)
Title:  WE 110 and 109 (3)
Description:  Here you can see the tank car has now been moved to the main, allowing room for these two engines to be coupled to the now 26-car train that rests on the SWP interchange track. You can see here how it abruptly goes downhill. A derail switch is at the other end of the train because of the steep grade.
