Title:  SWP 2002, AVR 2005, NREX 8749 (2)
Description:  A triplet of GP11's doing some switching work after bring back some full loads from Connellsville. The AVR engine was sent by parent company Carload Express to help out here, because an SWP engine is broken down. Also SWP 2002 was used in the famous "Unstoppable" movie for the locomotive on the excursion train that barely avoided hitting the runaway train.

SWP 2002, AVR 2005, NREX 8749
Title:  SWP 2002, AVR 2005, NREX 8749
Description:  The rare sight of these three engines working together is due to the fact that one of the SWPs engines is broken down. So an AVR (Allegheny Valley Railroad) engine was brought down from Pittsburgh to lend a hand. After doing numerous very complicated railcar switching jobs in Everson, the train finally crosses Jacobs Creek into Scottdale, with an equal amount of engines and cars. After a brief stop in Scottdale, their next destination is Greensburg. SWP and AVR are subsidiaries of Carload Express Inc., which is why they have an identical scheme. Also SWP 2002 was used in the famous "Unstoppable" movie for the locomotive on the excursion train that barely avoided hitting the runaway train.

AVR 2005 (1)
Title:  AVR 2005 (1)
Description:  Seen unoccupied, idling at the junction of W&LE and SWP railroads in Owensdale, Pa. Two W&LE locomotives seen earlier in the day with this are now nowhere to be seen. I cant say for sure, but this may have been dropped off for the SWP to temporarily use once again. This is a rebuilt GP11 formerly Illinois Central GP9 9098 built all the way back in March 1955. Allegheny Valley Railroad is a subsidiary of Carload Express Inc.
