I heard the unique sound of their horn when it was a few miles down the tracks in Dawson, and I thought to mysself: Ok here we go, time to get ready for some BNSF. And I wasnt disappointed. Note the cargo behind the engines are MRAP armored vehicles. They have been hauling them a lot lately. |

Eastbound Q368 rolls into Connellsville over fresh snow and in morning sunlight, led by BNSF 674 still in its Santa Fe glory. As of this uploading, the train had just left South Connellsville and is Cumberland-bound. BNSF 674 is former ATSF 674, GE C44-9W, built September 1994. (Note the reflection of the bridge I was on, in the windshield). |
