The two teenagers in this photo were inattentively walking right down the middle of the tracks for the whole straitaway, and I heard this Q261-19 autorack train calling out at the signal in Bluestone and I knew the train would be right up on them in no time. I yelled down at them repeatedly to get the *#@! off the tracks because a train is coming behind them and they just keep walking in a stupor. They dont move out of the way till the train has to lay on the horn and almost go into emergency mode. When they do finally get off the tracks, they dont back up any further than you see right here. As soon as the train (temporarily) came to a stop for the Greene Junction signal, these idiots crossed the couplers between the autoracks, and then also the coal train. No wonder fatalities happen almost every year on CSX in the Connellsville area. |
