In the early morning of January 1, 2018 a Q277 train with some intermodal freight was being shoved eastward on Track 1 when a rail broke/separated in the cold weather, causing some cars to derail into a stopped coal train on Track 2, that had CSX 5105 leading. There were no injuries. The cleanup was handled by crews and equipment from Hulcher, RJ Corman, and CSX. |
