A veteran of the L&N (5013) built in November 1971. It was an SW1500 switcher when it started out but is now a RCPHE4. It is a remote control engine that can be attached to other engines on a train to make them remote control as well. But in this photo it was just being pulled along. Most recently this was in Selkirk, NY so who knows where it is headed next. This used to be CSX 1118, so the number 9 on this is just improvised. |
