Description:  A rare occurence of two rebuilt SD40-3's together on the same train, L226-19 going east on Track 2 Main in Connellsville, and not stopping in the yard. CSX 4000 was the first in the rebuild program and is former SBD/LN 8147 built in September 1981. CSX 4016 is former SCL 8047 built in July 1979.

Former CSX 8203 and built as L&N 3575 in 1974. This Grissom Street railroad crossing has recently been repaired/resurfaced by CSX. Route 819/Railroad Street in the left of the photo was closed for a festival in Dawson.

Description:  Autorack train Q261 going west downgrade through Ohiopyle State Park. With the whine of the dynamic brakes I could hear this train coming from several miles away in the river valley. I tried a new camera mode for this one. "Sport mode" seems to work very well for capturing a fast-moving train with no blur. CSX 4008 was rebuilt at Huntington Locomotive Shops as a SD40-3 in 2011. Formerly CSX 8045 and SCL 8045 built in July 1979.
