Description:  In a span of about 15 minutes, these three trains all showed up here at the EAS Sodem signals in Connellsville. First was the N731 coal train on the left. Then a D058 work train, and then the Q261 autorack train using Track 4 for yard headroom. That is how it goes around here. Either really busy or nothing at all..

Description:  On a rather quiet afternoon for trains, this U306 coal train breaks the silence with a CW44-6 and AC44CW rumbling through town. CSX 627 has been downrated from 6000hp to 4400hp and was formerly called an AC60CW. U306 trains consist entirely of 5-bay SCWX hoppers for South Carolina Public Service Authority.

Description:  CSX 3148, 436, 671 on train Q394-22 have been here in Connellsville since January 23 when the blizzard was going full throttle and have no where to go due to heavy snow amounts at Cumberland Yard in Maryland. So every train coming through has had to run around it on Track 1 Main. Note how far up the snow is on this signpost here.

Description:  On Q138-01. This engine will not ever be seen in this paint again. In 2013 it has received the new HTM/Boxcar Logo/YN3/Dark Future paint. This is one of 39 CW44-6's that were downrated from their original 6000 horsepower. So everything is not always what it appears to be.
