I luckily stumbled upon this eastbound ethanol train, K674-17, idling in Connellsville waiting for permission to enter the CSX yard. These trains out of the Midwest almost always have some kind of non-CSX power on them and today is no exception. NREX 6309 SD40-2 was built in July 1973 as MILW 25 and later became EMDX 6309 and SOO 6309. CP 5995 SD40-2 was built in 1980 and has been CP the entire time. |
