Empty ethanol train K631-31 is being held at Broadford on Track 1 to wait for an eastbound Q276 train to pass and cross over from Track 1 to Track 2. It was very fortunate for me that the train had to stop here or I would have been too late to photograph it. |

The lead engine on the K631-31 empty ethanol train. What a history it has. Built as MILW 196 SD40-2 in May 1974. Later became SOO 6360, and HLCX 6360 before coming to Dakota, Minnesota, and Eastern. This engine is named the "City of Mankato". |
