Empty oil train K045 going west through Broadford, PA on Track 1. It had already done a crossover several miles away, so it is rapidly picking up speed here. With oil prices falling, one has to wonder how long the oil shale boom will continue and how much longer it will be feasible to ship oil these great distances on the rails. |
