Seen behind engine 6728 that was reportedly in an accident with a tractor-trailer, according to the PittsburghChannel.com (WTAE). Their article was posted November 25. According to the article, and truck carrying a forklift was stuck on the tracks and the train was unable to avoid him. The accident was in Fredericktown, PA on Old Route 88. Hazmat was called, as apparently the fuel tank has a leak. No injuries were reported. Seen in the Norfolk Southern West Brownsville Yard. Thanks to the Norfolk Southern maintenance crew for allowing me to take photos. This was painted black in 2011. |
