According to the article, a truck carrying a forklift was stuck on the tracks and the train was unable to avoid him. The accident was in Fredericktown, PA on Old Route 88. Hazmat was called, as apparently the fuel tank has a leak. No injuries were reported. Seen in the Norfolk Southern West Brownsville Yard. In the background is NS 5147 and Conrail 5328. Thanks to the Norfolk Southern maintenance crew for allowing me to take photos. This engine has now been painted black. |

This engine was in an accident almost a year ago and luckily was repaired without getting the inevitable black paint job. Former Conrail 5595. Update: In May 2011 it did get painted black. |
