Description:  A train that was sitting here all night, at the junction of CSX and W&LE in Connellsvile, during a storm that dumped a foot of additional snow on the area. I later found out that the CSX yard in Connellsville where this would have been going, had their switches frozen shut.

Description:  Power from what was the K111-09 empty ore train has attached to a loaded coal train at Woods Road crossing Owensdale, Pa. forming a lineup of seven EMD standard cabs. Maybe the most power this rail line here has ever seen. WE 3034 was rebuilt at the W&LE Brewster shops in July 1999 and is former Union Pacific 3034 built in April 1966.

Description:  Heading west near Eanotti Road just outside Owensdale, Pa. It is leading a train of loaded coal from the SWP Railroad and also some empty coke hoppers. WE 3034 SD40-3 was built in April 1966 as UP 3034 SD40. Later became Oxford 3034. Acquired by W&LE in 1992 and rebuilt to an SD40-3 in July 1999.

Title:  WE 6356, 3034, 7377
Description:  Empty coke train K301-27 idling at Milepost 1 on the Wheeling and Lake Erie in Connellsville. It has been here since early on October 28th. WE 6356 the "Gray Ghost", was acquired in 2010 by the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway and unveiled for service this year. Former UP UP 3651 built in December 1979. It was already in a derailment on 9/25/2011 in Akron, Ohio and still the gray primer paint job has survived a while longer.

Description:  Heading east on Track 3 to the Connellsville CSX Yard to pick up three more cars. The coke hopper on this train came from Monessen and the tank cars came from Everson. They would take six cars back to Rook Yard. On the other end of the train here is W&LE 6989.
