A train of empty sand cars sits in the hot sun at Wheeler Bottom, also known as O&B Junction. The train had a wait time of 3+ hours because it could not get onto CSX which was doing track work. The rails on the ground here are for the SWP Railroads own track improvements. A second track will be added around the bend. |
