The third engine on the southbound K110-27 ore train, seen near the Narrows Hill Road crossing. This is an SD40-2 formerly of the Milwaukee Road (#174) and built in 1973. After that it was leased by EMD (Electro Motive Division of GM). It is still in EMD blue. |

The Connellsville CSX yard is looking more like the W&LE Rook Yard, with the full ore train K110&27 passing the empty ore train K110-26. The empty has come back from Sparrows Point, Md, and the full one is headed there, eventually. Note that there is a crew in the second engine as well as the first one. I thought that was rather odd. |
